The Kitchener Road shop will close at 4pm on Sat 24th Dec. The shop will be closed on Sun 25th Dec, Mon 26th Dec & Tues 27th Dec. Open again On Wed 28th Dec – to Sat 31st Dec. Note on the 31st the shop will close at 4pm. and closed Sun 1st Jan, Mon 2nd Jan & Tue 3rd Jan.
Well Hung at the Milford Centre will close at 4pm on the 24th and 31st of Dec. It is closed Sun 25th Dec and Sun 1st Jan. The shop will be open from 10 – 5 pm on the other public holidays.
Normal hours will resume from Wed Jan 4th 2023.
Courier deliveries will resume from Mon Jan 9th 2023.
The staff at Well Hung are committed to reducing the chance of spreading Omicron. To help reduce your need to be out and about, or if you have to self-isolate, we have extended our $5 delivery fee for the North Shore. This includes postcodes starting 06xx and also Long Bay 0792. You are able to place your order online or phone the shop 09-4860936. Keep safe. For most deliveries, a Well Hung staff member will deliver your order.
What areas do you deliver to?
We DO NOT deliver to RURAL addresses (sorry but this may take up to 3 days and we can’t risk our product sitting for that length of time), if you do live in a rural area you could organise your Well Hung delivery to be delivered to a location collection that is not a rural address or NZ Couriers often have a local agent where you can collect from.
To check your Courier Zone, enter your address on the shipping page, your Courier Zone will show next to “Shipping”.
How do you deliver and when?
We use a variety of couriers to deliver our meat bags, depending on your location.
The North Shore, Auckland Zone 1 and 2 are guaranteed same day delivery. For residential customers in these zones we normally use Urgent Couriers Evening delivery. These are delivered between 5-9pm.
Auckland Zone 3 – the courier will try but not guarantee same day delivery.
Rest of the North Island (excluding Rural Delivery) is an overnight courier. Note : we will not deliver on Mondays.
All our meat is packed with ice packs in a reusable & recyclable chill container box, to keep your meat chilled during delivery. For our overnight couriers we use extra insulation to ensure your meat arrives in perfect condition.
We know how sometimes life can get busy, so if you are not going to be home when we deliver, please let us know where to leave your bag, by including delivery instructions when you order. The courier drivers have been instructed to leave your order at your address. Please note, this will be at your own risk.
How much does delivery cost?
Milford & Takapuna with postcodes 0620 & 0622 same day deliveries are a flat fee of $5.00. The rest of the North Shore and InnerCentral Auckland residential same day deliveries are at a flat-fee of $17.00. Deliveries to greater Auckland are $22. This includes a re-useable chill container box.
North Island delivery options are a flat fee of $27 (weight limits apply). We will try our best but we are unable to guarantee same day delivery.
Delivery to a business address can also be arranged.
When will I receive my order?
Deliveries will be made to residential and business addresses from Monday to Friday for Auckland Zone 1 & Zone 2. For Auckland Zone 3 & North Island we can deliver Tuesday to Friday.
We cut everything to order to ensure you are getting the freshest meat possible. To ensure this we have a cut off time for orders or changes to orders, which is 5pm the day before delivery for Auckland Zone 1 & 2. For Auckland Zone 3 & North Island cut off is 11am for an overnight delivery.
After this point, orders will be working their way through our butchery so cannot be cancelled or amended. If you have any problems regarding your order please contact us via email email@example.com or phone 09 486 0936

Phone and Collect
There is nothing worse than having to wait to be served when you are in a hurry or even worse, arriving at a shop to find the product you have been salivating just thinking about has sold out.
We have taken that stress away with our fabulous phone and collect in store option. Simply give us 5-6 hours notice of what you would like and when you would like it to be ready, order and pay via phone.
Or use the click and collect online option and it will be packed, ready and waiting for you at your specified time.

We now offer two locations to collect your meat orders – our main store is located at 210 Kitchener Road, Milford or our newly opened Well Hung @ the Milford Centre. Well Hung @ the Milford Centre will be open Monday to Saturday 9am – 5.30pm and Sunday from 10am – 5pm. Public Holidays 9am to 5pm. Closed Christmas Day and Good Friday.

We can put aside and age your selected cut to be ready when you want it.
