An AngusPure beef tomahawk steak is a hand cut, full rib eye (scotch fillet)steak. It is left attached to a long, exposed bone. This results in a large, tender and well marbled meat with bold, melt in the mouth flavours as flavours are released from both the huge bone, and inter-muscular fat during roasting to give a sweet gelatinous flavour.. Dry aged and cherished, we cut this steak to order, firstly cutting the rib bone and the steak out of the hung meat, then French trimming the bone for impressive presentation. This awe inspiring cut makes it an ideal sharing steak for a special occasion or romantic meal, as it can easily feed two people.
